# What is a Communication Plan?

Communication Plans control what network services an IoT device can use. You can have many Communication Plans, but a device may only have one Communication Plan at any given time. You can modify the Communication Plan assigned to each device through TELUS Control Centre > Devices > click on the ICCID you want to modify > click Edit.
